Clump Free Mascara

After applying mascara to lower lashes, gently rub a finger along the lashes.
This will separate individual lashes out and get rid of excess clumps of mascara.

The most used beauty product in my makeup bag is my Bourjois Little Round Pot eyeshadow in a champagne like 'beige rose' colour:

...Hence the lack of a lid on my own little pot... hehe.

Anyways, I use it as a highlighter on:
  • the lid of my eye before applying any other colour
  • the inner corner of my eye
  • just under my eyebrow
to help me look more fresh eyed and awake.

Check out the difference between my eyes:

With the highlighting:

...and without:

Keep in mind that this product can also be used:

  1. To highlight cheekbones when used on a fluffy brush to give a dewy appearance to your face.
  2. To define your nose and make it appear thinner by applying a thin line down your nose with a small brush.

Quick and Easy Manicure

Sometimes bare nails tend to look quite dull or develop a yellowy tinge from nail varnish use or just general wear and tear. Clear nail varnish often only adds a shine to this colour rather than helping to make the nail look cleaner and healthier.

My quick solution to this problem is to add a drop of scarlet red or cherry red nail
varnish like this one: a clear nail varnish bottle using the red varnish brush.

Shake the bottle well to make sure the mixture has fully mixed. You should have enough to have turned the liquid a transparent red colour. You should be still able to see the nail brush through the liquid.

Apply one to two coats of the varnish to your nails depending on how strong a pinky tinge you are looking for on your nails and VOLIA!

Mirror Mirror ... in the hand?

Trouble applying mascara?

Get yourself a hand held mirror, hold it at a right angle to your chin and apply mascara looking down into it to avoid smudge disasters!

Lining up a storm...

Liquid eyeliner is a contraversial topic amongst makeup wearers. The effect it creates is strong, cleancut, longlasting and artistic however the application process terrifies many. My top tips for flawless application is...
  1. Apply before any other product is applied to eyelid.
  2. Apply liner liberally as close to top lash line as possible. (Don't worry about mistakes!)
  3. Use a make up remover wipe to quickly sweep over the eye and take off the excess liner. A thin line will be left along the lashline. (If you dont have a wipe, a clean finger swiped along the line while it is still wet will also do the job!)

  4. To tidy up this line, add a flick to the edge of your top lash to finish off the line at the outer edge of the eye.
Let me know how this tip works out for you!
